Embroidery
This method is best used if you have a logo or design that involves multiple colours. Equally many people chose it for its professional finish. The origination will be costed by the amount of stitches required for the size of design and its intricacy when digitized. This is a one off cost that won’t be applied if you reorder the same design in its original size even if its on different garments. There is then a cost for embroidering the garment itself this is based upon the type of garment and the amount of stitches. We attempt as far as possible to match the thread references to Pantones although please be aware that they are not quite the same.
You send us your artwork as either a vector or bitmap file. We then digitise this converting it into a computer file that is acceptable to embroidery machines. This process takes a day or so and we are able to provide you with a visual proof if requested via email of what you artwork will look like prior to actioning the order.
We then use master embroiderers to customise your clothing. It is possible to embroider many different types of clothing including caps and even some shoes. As such the process is much more versatile than screen-printing. However there are some limitations, if we embroider shirt breast logos for example it will seal the pocket since it goes through to the garment itself. Also we cannot go across seams. So this is worth bearing in mind when ordering.
